Description
Crispy and flavorful drumsticks with caramelized onions and garlic, cooked to perfection in an air fryer.
Ingredients
- 8 chicken drumsticks
- 2 large onions, thinly sliced
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp dried thyme
Instructions
- Pat dry drumsticks with paper towels.
- Toss drumsticks with olive oil, salt, pepper, paprika, and thyme.
- Preheat air fryer to 375°F for 3 minutes.
- Place drumsticks in air fryer basket in a single layer.
- Cook for 15 minutes, flipping halfway.
- Add onions and garlic to the basket.
- Cook for another 5-7 minutes until onions caramelize.
- Check internal temperature reaches 165°F.
Notes
- Dry chicken skin thoroughly for crispiness.
- Don’t overcrowd the air fryer basket.
- Adjust cooking time for larger drumsticks.
