Description
Crispy and tangy Carolina mustard BBQ wings made easy in the air fryer.
Ingredients
- 2 lbs chicken wings
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1/2 cup yellow mustard
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- Pat the chicken wings dry and toss them with olive oil, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
- Arrange the wings in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
- Cook for 20 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and crispy.
- In a bowl, mix mustard, honey, apple cider vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, and cayenne pepper.
- Toss the cooked wings in the mustard BBQ sauce.
- Serve immediately.
Notes
- For extra crispiness, cook wings 5 minutes longer.
- Adjust cayenne pepper for more or less heat.
- Serve with celery sticks and ranch dressing.
