Description
Crispy chicken nuggets made in an air fryer for a healthier twist on a classic favorite.
Ingredients
- 1 lb chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 tbsp olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- In a bowl, mix breadcrumbs, Parmesan, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Dip chicken pieces in beaten eggs, then coat with the breadcrumb mixture.
- Lightly spray or brush the air fryer basket with olive oil.
- Place nuggets in the basket in a single layer, leaving space between them.
- Cook for 8-10 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and crispy.
- Check internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
- Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.
Notes
- Do not overcrowd the air fryer basket.
- For extra crispiness, spray nuggets lightly with oil before cooking.
- Adjust seasoning to taste.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
