Description
A crispy air fryer chicken sandwich with juicy chicken and a crunchy coating.
Ingredients
- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 egg
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 2 tbsp oil
- 4 burger buns
- Lettuce and tomato for serving
Instructions
- Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- Mix flour, salt, pepper, paprika, and garlic powder in a bowl.
- Whisk egg and milk in another bowl.
- Coat chicken in flour mix, dip in egg mix, then coat with breadcrumbs.
- Lightly spray or brush chicken with oil.
- Place chicken in air fryer basket. Cook for 12 minutes, flip, then cook 8 more minutes.
- Toast buns lightly if desired.
- Assemble sandwich with chicken, lettuce, and tomato.
Notes
- Use panko breadcrumbs for extra crunch.
- Check chicken internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
- Adjust cooking time based on chicken thickness.
