Ingredients
- 1 cup sourdough bread crumbs
- 1 pound chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- Cooking spray
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- In a bowl, mix the sourdough bread crumbs, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
- Dredge each chicken piece in flour, then dip in beaten eggs, and finally coat with the bread crumb mixture.
- Place the coated nuggets in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Lightly spray with cooking spray.
- Cook for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and crispy.
- Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.
Notes
- For extra crispiness, spray the nuggets lightly with oil before cooking.
- Use leftover sourdough bread to make the bread crumbs.
