Description
A quick and easy Christmas dinner idea with tender chicken, vegetables, and a flaky crust made in the air fryer.
Ingredients
- 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
- 1 cup frozen mixed vegetables
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1/4 cup heavy cream
- 1 can (8 oz) cream of chicken soup
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp dried thyme
- 1 sheet refrigerated pie crust
Instructions
- Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- In a bowl, mix chicken, vegetables, broth, cream, soup, garlic powder, pepper, and thyme.
- Transfer the mixture to an air fryer-safe baking dish.
- Roll out the pie crust and place it over the dish, crimping the edges.
- Cut slits in the crust for steam to escape.
- Air fry for 15-20 minutes until the crust is golden brown.
- Let cool for 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
- Use rotisserie chicken for quicker prep.
- Thaw frozen vegetables before using for even cooking.
- Check the crust halfway through cooking to prevent burning.
