Description
A quick and easy air fryer sesame chicken recipe that’s crispy on the outside and tender on the inside.
Ingredients
- 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tbsp honey
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 1 tbsp rice vinegar
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp ginger, grated
- 1/4 cup cornstarch
- 1 tbsp sesame seeds
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil
- 2 green onions, sliced
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix soy sauce, honey, sesame oil, rice vinegar, garlic, and ginger.
- Toss chicken pieces in cornstarch until coated.
- Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- Lightly spray or brush chicken with vegetable oil.
- Air fry chicken for 10 minutes, shaking halfway.
- Toss cooked chicken in the sauce mixture.
- Return to air fryer for 2 more minutes.
- Sprinkle with sesame seeds and green onions before serving.
Notes
- Cut chicken into even-sized pieces for uniform cooking.
- Adjust honey for sweetness preference.
- Serve over rice or with steamed vegetables.
