Description
Crispy, sticky sweet chili chicken thighs made easy in the air fryer. Perfect balance of sweet and spicy with minimal effort.
Ingredients
- 6 bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs
- 1/4 cup sweet chili sauce
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp ginger powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil
Instructions
- Pat chicken thighs dry with paper towels
- Mix sweet chili sauce, soy sauce, honey, garlic powder, ginger powder, salt, and pepper in a bowl
- Coat chicken thighs evenly with the marinade
- Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for 5 minutes
- Arrange chicken thighs in single layer in air fryer basket
- Cook for 15 minutes, flip, then cook 10 more minutes
- Brush with remaining sauce and cook 2 additional minutes
Notes
- For crispier skin, pat chicken completely dry before marinating
- Adjust cooking time based on chicken size
- Let rest 5 minutes before serving
