Description
A delicious twist on grilled cheese, combining the flavors of stromboli with the convenience of an air fryer. Perfect for a quick snack or meal.
Ingredients
- 1 tube refrigerated pizza dough
- 8 slices mozzarella cheese
- 8 slices pepperoni
- 1/4 cup pizza sauce
- 1 egg (for egg wash)
- 1 tbsp olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- Roll out pizza dough into a rectangle.
- Spread pizza sauce evenly over the dough.
- Layer mozzarella cheese and pepperoni on top.
- Roll the dough tightly into a log.
- Brush with egg wash and olive oil.
- Place in air fryer and cook for 10-12 minutes until golden brown.
- Slice and serve warm.
Notes
- You can substitute pepperoni with cooked sausage or veggies.
- Let the roll cool for 2 minutes before slicing.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 2 days.
