Description
A crispy and flavorful grilled cheese sandwich made in an air fryer with a herb crust.
Ingredients
- 2 slices of bread
- 2 slices of cheddar cheese
- 1 tablespoon butter, softened
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon dried basil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon grated parmesan cheese
Instructions
- Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- Mix the oregano, basil, garlic powder, and parmesan in a small bowl.
- Spread butter on one side of each bread slice.
- Sprinkle the herb mixture evenly over the buttered sides.
- Place one slice of cheese on the unbuttered side of one bread slice.
- Top with the second slice of cheese and the other bread slice, herb-side up.
- Place the sandwich in the air fryer basket.
- Cook for 4-5 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and crispy.
- Serve immediately.

- Use any cheese you prefer.
- Adjust cooking time based on your air fryer model.
- For extra crispiness, spray the sandwich lightly with cooking oil.
