Description
Lemon herb shrimp skewers cooked in an air fryer for a quick and delicious meal.
Ingredients
- 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon lemon zest
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- Wooden or metal skewers
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 3 minutes.
- In a bowl, mix olive oil, garlic, lemon juice, lemon zest, oregano, thyme, salt, and pepper.
- Toss the shrimp in the marinade until evenly coated.
- Thread the shrimp onto skewers, leaving small gaps between each piece.
- Place the skewers in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
- Cook for 5-6 minutes, flipping halfway, until shrimp are pink and opaque.
- Serve immediately with lemon wedges or your favorite dipping sauce.
Notes
- Soak wooden skewers in water for 30 minutes before using to prevent burning.
- Adjust cook time if using smaller or larger shrimp.
- For extra flavor, marinate shrimp for 15-30 minutes before cooking.
