Description
A quick and easy pizza margherita grilled cheese made in the air fryer.
Ingredients
- 2 slices of bread
- 1/4 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 2 tbsp marinara sauce
- 2-3 fresh basil leaves
- 1 tbsp butter
Instructions
- Spread butter on one side of each bread slice.
- Place one slice, buttered side down, in the air fryer basket.
- Spread marinara sauce on the bread.
- Add shredded mozzarella cheese.
- Top with fresh basil leaves.
- Place the second bread slice on top, buttered side up.
- Air fry at 350°F for 5-7 minutes until golden and crispy.
- Flip halfway through cooking.
- Serve hot.
Notes
- Use fresh mozzarella for better melt.
- Adjust cooking time based on your air fryer model.
- Add a pinch of red pepper flakes for spice.
