Description
Crispy and spicy Portuguese Piri Piri drumsticks made easily in your air fryer.
Ingredients
- 8 chicken drumsticks
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp Piri Piri sauce
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp dried oregano
Instructions
- Pat the drumsticks dry with paper towels.
- In a bowl, mix olive oil, Piri Piri sauce, paprika, garlic powder, salt, pepper, and oregano.
- Coat the drumsticks evenly with the marinade.
- Preheat the air fryer to 380°F (190°C) for 5 minutes.
- Place the drumsticks in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
- Cook for 20 minutes, flipping halfway through.
- Check the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
- Serve hot.
Notes
- Adjust Piri Piri sauce for more or less heat.
- Marinate for 30 minutes for deeper flavor.
- Use kitchen tongs to flip drumsticks safely.
