Description
A quick and easy appetizer featuring mini sausages wrapped in puff pastry, air-fried to perfection, and drizzled with a sweet and tangy honey mustard glaze.
Ingredients
- 1 package (8 oz) mini sausages or cocktail franks
- 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
- 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
- 2 tbsp honey
- 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
- 1/2 tsp yellow mustard
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp paprika
Instructions
- Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- Roll out puff pastry and cut into thin strips.
- Wrap each sausage with a strip of puff pastry, sealing the edges.
- Brush with beaten egg for a golden finish.
- Air fry for 8-10 minutes until golden and crispy.
- Mix honey, mustards, garlic powder, and paprika in a bowl.
- Drizzle glaze over cooked pigs in a blanket before serving.
Notes
- Use pre-cooked sausages for safety.
- Thaw puff pastry in the fridge for best results.
- Adjust glaze sweetness by adding more or less honey.
